Questions?? Upgrading to lipo and brushless!

Im thinking of upgrading to lipo and getting a lrp sphere and running an lrp 17.5 stock what can I expect ? Will the performance be that much greater than the brushed motor and standard batteries Ive been running ?

Umm, actually, I wouldn't go THAT far, since brushless 17.5 motors are actually much closer in performance to 27 turn stock brushed motors. In fact, word I've gotten from a number of spondored drivers is that the 17.5 BL's are actually a little bit SLOWER than a GOOD, well tuned brushed stock(though it's not by much). And of course, a 17.5 will just keep on going the same, run after run after run without need for any heavy maintanence, while a brushed stock will drop off after just a couple of runs. The way they generally break down is, 17.5's are equivalent to brushed stocks, 13.5's are about the same as the 23 turn brushed motors that have been used in Japan alot as their stock motor, & the 10.5 motors are about the same as a solid 19 turn spec brushed motor....
