Izzy I have pictures of mine, but it is with the blue conversion kit on it.
As for handling, out of the box it had a little push with the kit set-up, the tracktion was low on the surface I ran on, it was at Burien RC. The only change was a set of A tires soft inserts in the front, and hards in the rear. The changes that were mad was, lengthening the upper arms (camber links) and shock oil. The car was pretty good with those changes. I then went to sway bars, yellow all the way around and it got really pushy again.
you've got to show us those pix man!

It was fun building it. I used a 55/22 on a reedy rage stock motor. I think that was 6.5 ratio. I t has skinny hex adaptors so I replaced it with some tl01 regular sized thickness to widen the stance. Has a thin spacer for the front wheels too. First impression was it was smooth and very responsive. I had just sold a really nice ta04r and I like this one better. I ran it stock with a set of threaded shocks I had from my ta04r. Lots of potential and comes with ball diff, alloy propeler shaft and pretty much my ta04 arms and carriers should fit. Not sure about universals though. Great job Tamiya. For less than $150 you can't go wrong.

Please explain! Your not sure if the TA04 universals will fit?
TA04 is 39mm
TB02 I think is 42mm

Then I guess the ta04's universal is tad short then. Anyone with suspension setup for these cars?

Thanks to everyone that helped me with my other questions.
I have another question, does any one know if i can get a 4.2 to 4.35 final drive ratio. I have worked out I would need a 30t pinon and 49t spur gear, would this be possible.
Thanks

Who has raced this thing yet?How is it comparison to the evo3?If you are running a oneway are you having the same stripping problem? I am trying to get ready for TCS in Febuary and need to build a car for GT2 and 3.

I have raced the TB02 against a TRF 414M2 out of the box it was good against the M2. ( I thought I typed that a few days ago, I know it was only 10days at the most) Difuser was driving the M2. I have not run a one way yet. I would guess it will have the same issues. But maybe not. the cahssis is tied together differently. and it might be stiffer from front to rear than a plate car, but it is about as soft as the evo 3 with a2.5mm lower deck torsionaly.?.?.
Difuser had a night of practice with the car. I sat it down on the track on Sunday morning. I had a 5.0 gear ration. he had a 5.3 as for gearing the two I ran were a 5.0 (27/52) and a 5.2 (26/52), remember a 5.7 might be the next step, but there might be something in the middle with the 52 tooth spur. just need to check it when you build it.
