well man if yours spins free and your motor dont heat up
dont worry bout it
with mass produced kits they are never two kits that are
the same
the problems i had you may never see
but its just some thing to keep an eye on
if you have raced yours you would have known right away

Default need help!!

Somebody mention before about the F201 spur can fit in the TB-02.

The max ratio now is 5.72 . I want to go lower. Anybody can send some pictures of the F201 spur in the Tb02?

well man not sure about that
but i do know that the tb02 does
come with a spur gear adapter that with let you
run 48 pitch spur gears and if you get the billit motor mount
you can slot out the bolt holes so you can adjust your gear mesh
to about any ratio spur and pinion combo

The F201 speed tuned geas does fit in the TB02 but you will have to use pinions 25 (A) 26 (B) 27 (C) 28 (D) holes and it will work, the 27T will equate to a 5.01

Yeah... Check this site out for the bigger sized pinions, because I don't think tamiya make the 28t 0.6m pinion. Although I think a 27t 0.6m pinion for the ta04 is available.

Default TB Evo 4 diff gears

hi there,
has anyone tried fitting the tb evo4 diff/bevel gear set in their tb02? i'm new to tb02 chassis, besides motor mount, ssg t-bar, stabilisers, what else is needed to make this car perform good on races, besides steady hands...
thanks.

no, i'm referring to the internal diff/bevel gears....read in a HK mag and it says those gears have a carbon mix and fits evo 3, so should fit tb02 also.....

the diff gear is the same, but the small bevel gear attaches to the driveshaft totally different... dont think it will work.

I have not run the alloy gear personally, however I have been told by a quality source that it has worked well in his EVO3 SL
