TCS is coming to our hobbytown this march, and i would like to run my EVO3SL. Besides getting the topdeck, mount, and the tub chassis, what should pinion and spur numbers should i run with a monster in GT2? Im thinking about running the MR-S with the SS arms just like hebiki . All help is appreciated.

i drove 04R with SS arms and i loved the handling.
i also want to try a different setup. if it doesn't work out, then i can switch back to the regular arms.

hey wassup everyone. im new to this forum but not new to rc. i was wondering if anyone knew the eaxct date to the releasee of the tb02r. i wana get a tb02 but i dont want to get it wen the tb02r comes out teh next day. u know wat i mean.

how much would it cost to hop-up a tb02 into a competitor? i see that teh conversion kit works for it too, how mcuh does dat cost?how many parts fit into the tb02? would a bl system be overkill for a stock tb02?

i have alot of questions because i dont kn o much about the tb02.

Default Just waiting for paint!

I have my GT-3 car almost ready.

Right now, it's like those "Visible V8" kits...it's the "Visible TB-02 SS"

Thanks to Hebiki and Izzy for the help and cool parts...I'm just about ready to do some Mabuchi battle.

Oh yeah...one quick question...I need the little block that goes between the front gearcase and the TB-02 front bumper reinforcement. I built the car from the bones of my trusty Evo III (sniff-sniff ) that expired at SoCal ( ) and parts I bought from Speedtech -- hence, I don't have a manual.

Can anyone give me the part number or tell me the tree I need to get to get that little block so I can use the TB-02 bumper?

I probably have 80-100 bucks in new TB-02 parts and hopups (chassis, braces, SSG stiffener, aluminum steering arms) -- 80 bucks or so in "TAOB-Certified" new or near-new parts (SS arms, gears, KO servo and body) and my poor EVO parts car (Gearboxes, LW shaft, shocks and upper mounts).

Probably 250-300 total. I love the MRS body. I can't wait to get paint on it and race it.

Thanks for the nice words!

I think you can be pretty competitive with them just about out of the box...at least that's what I hear. They're basically a plastic EVO III.

You can always hop them up later, but you can easily go fast with a stock one.

Default wats a taob?

Basically...they're a bunch of Filipino Tamiya freaks that hang out at all the SoCal R/C races and win everything.

Chris (Hebiki) and the rest of the TAOB guys are always selling stuff and it's always in great shape. They always buy all the cool new stuff and I'm happy to take their hand-me-downs.

TAOB website

Thanks Turbo Joe... I couldn't have explained it better. The only thing I would probably correct is... "a bunch of Filipinos"... hehe, we're multicultural now remember? Oh and we all don't run Tamiya cars...

Yeah...Air Nate keeps trying to tell everyone he's Cambodian, but we all know he's really a flip.

Lesse..one Losi guy...I think an X-ray here or there. Joe has a Pro-4...and like 50,000 various other Tamiya kits between the rest of you. I swear you guys should be on the payroll.

Keep up the good work!
