Hi Kevin...

Glad you guys got back to Washington safe... It was really fun running with you and Tom and I'm so glad you showed us the potential of the TB chassis... I was going to use my -02(all prepped since the TCS in June/July) but the aging 04 was just a tad bit faster and more consistent throughout practice(at least mine was). In the end... I'm just glad I made the right decision. My -02 will not be sidelined though as I'm sure it will still be a car to beat in upcoming races... (As for me, I'm so glad I won't be dealing with your raging TB-02 again... 16.2 with a mabuchi? DANGGG!!! Are you sure you didn't cut the track? Now, just practice to be more consistent and you'll get them next year... chiao ma friend!!! )

-Ian

Default 16.2

Yikes. I might keep my tee bee around just in case then. In fact i might build box stock to run my local races and keep my 04(princess) for next years tcs, or strip it down for all the nice parts. Now no more radio hits next year for me. Fingers crossed.

So are non tamiya heatsinks legal. I think I'll snag one of those reedy ones for the tee bee.

Now only if we could find a way to lighten it up by a few ounces.

Chris, Remember the housing is cheaper too...........Also don't move into Portland/Vancouver it is slower as evidenced by Tom's laptimes

Does it have something to do with the altitude? No oxygen for the motor to breathe or something?

Tamiyadriver... thanx for the support man! I never knew how many r/c friends I had until after I beat my tq early Sunday morning... I swear my hands were swollen just before the mains from the endless high fives I received...

Ok set up

car was a surikarn, so all the hop ups from that car. The only additional hop ups used were of course the steering belcranks, the motor mount, lt wt shaft, and I did add the alloy rr 1 deg upright.

Front
700 wt oil gold spring 2 hole piston (1 black oring on bladder)
top of shock out on tower, IN on arm
inner upper link in middle hole, with 3mm under inner link
A-A blocks, no kick or pro drive
Akerman in outer hole
5mm ride height
blue sway bar
2 deg camber 1 deg toe out
almost no droop

Rear
500 wt oil gold spring 2 hole piston (1 black oring on bladder)
top of shock outer most hole on tower, and outer on arm
upper link (inner) middle hole +2mm / (outer) most at arm +.7mm
A-C block no anti squat
5 mm ride height
blue sway bar
2 deg camber 2, deg toe in per side
a little more droop than the front

Speeder QC2 profile 5
radio had 10 points of forward roll into it
Radio steering set to -25 exp.
gearing was 27/52
