the Chassis was like $10, about $22 for the steering, $ 15 for the motor mount, and 5-6 for the M-parts tree. You also need a 5x10mm bearing too instead of the Evo's 5x12 that supports the driveshaft towards the rear of the car

Yup, that was like the same price as the other parts tree. I think all in all it was around $45

I think you need to add a motor mount to it, either through the parts tree it is on, or through the aluminum mount.
If your local hobby shop can't help you, you can always get the parts from Tamiya direct.

Thats not quite right. The bearing was a 12x6 now its 10x6.

Everything needed;

Tub 9335398 12.50
upper deck parts 51044 6.50
m parts mtr mt/steering 51045 6.50
10 x 6 bearing

Or you can substitute
alloy steering 53678 32.00
alloy mtr mt 53680 23.00
use these and you don't need to buy the m parts

Also availble
plastic shock towers, and upper sus.mt B parts 51043 5.00
stabilizer set 53677 13.00
SSG reinforcing plate 53679 13.00
TB02 shaft 50993 7.25
lt/wt shaft 53686 9.75

hope that answers all q's

Default TA Setup

For those of you that run out at the TA facility, what would be a good starting setup for the TB-02 for the June TCS race?

Kevin,

Thanks for the help. One more question, can I use the spur gear and pinion from the EVO III?

biggest spur gear on the car is a 96t in fine, but good luck on getting it to mesh with the stock motor mount. I had a friend machine an adjustable one.
