Chances are itll look like a real car but the question is will it resemble the actual Maserati (a la the Corvette C6R body) or will it be one of those "doorstop" bodies (a la the Sophia)

for those using the sophia body, are you cutting on the trim lines or are you slamming the bodies like some vettes out there?

I use the Sophia's trim line which allows for a reasonable amount of upward travel for my front tires without hitting the body on my Gen-X 10.

The Corvette was originally a touring car body, only slightly re-done to be used for WGT, so its really tall.

The Sophia was the first WGT specific body and the trim lines reflect the WGT rules for overall car height. If you trim the Sophia above the trim lines you will not be able to meet the 104mm car height. To get a Corvette down to that height requires trimming well above the trim line.

FYI, at the first WGT race during last year's IIC, the minimum car height was 95mm. Now that was some squished lookin Vettes right there

Any 200mm chassis is legal. the Darkside is legal as long as its in the 200mm configuration.

I forget the address for where the rules are but Im sure somebody could post it up.

In WGT (we call them GT10 in Lithuania and Latvia) rules we made few changes, we use 10,5 brushless , and reduced minimal car weight to 1050g. we had few races, car feels very smooth and fast, by saying fast I mean that nitro touring has only 1s better laptimes in really gigantic track
