you must be someone who have not been playing rc eletric for very long there is com lathe for non rebuild able stock motor where you can com without taking out end bell please google for it ...

I have already said that you can use some stock motor comm lethe in my post, you can't see it.

Yes, someone said stock motor comm lethe can make it. But, do they really try? Do they know it is really difficult to make a smooth suface?

http://www.hudy.net/xhudy/products/p...1&kategoria=61
http://www.hudy.net/xhudy/show.php?i...2e6d8e590244e7

As you can't cut the comm in one time, you have to cut the comm two time by setting the knife in different position. As you can't see or difficult to see the comm inside the endbell, and also you have to set the knife two time, how come you can know you are cutting the right size? This will make the comm have two diameter.

And, as you can't see inside, how come you know the knife touching the comm or touching the faber spacer? If you not touch the spacer, you will have a different diameter at the end, if you have the same diameter, it will sure touch the faber end.

If you are not really use this stuff before, you wouldn't know this kind of equipment how uselss it is.

If you don't belive it, try it yourself.

More, the motor that use on Hong Kong champion car already checked by the TAC Japanese judge, it is only 175xx rpm, and it even not over 18000rpm.

Then do it mean the champion modify his motor to make his car slower?

And you can see those 3 video, the champion is the not the faster one..... Korean player and the Hong Kong player in second place, their car can say it is super fast.

For fair talk, I think TAC and organizer already do their best, especially the organizer show MC, I think he will lost he voice at least few days. He is the Best TAC show MC!

Yes, some rules seems not fair, some rules seems toward to some country player. It is sorry that their are no perfect rules and including Japan Tamiya Cup, many people said the rules just setting to fit the Japan players.

But, if you join this game, you have to know it will be facing such problem, unless you're not joining.

Still, the hoster, Malaysia, they already try their best to make it fair. You can see if they really bias, the organizer already give the Buggy champion title to the second place Malaysia team, and would't leading to Malaysia team refuse to collect those trophy.

If your country be the next hoster of TAC, and you are the manager of the organizer, will you, can you, do as best as them? No bias, Be really fair?

If the guys motor was over the 18k rpm maximum why not give them a different one rather than changing the rule?

First I must make a brief comment to Francis M.. Please read everything from the start and see how you could best comprehend it. I do not believe you can grasp the English language too well. As Uzzi has pointed out to you, it is pretty clear. If you cannot comprehend and make any useful comment that is constructive to the thread, then you should just read on and see how dark and evil this small toy car world can be.

As for mikecan8, I am surprised that your country manager/agent did not do enough to at least fight for what is right. I do not believe you should put so much faith in such a person. What is his motive for not speaking up for all of you that have been doing the right thing. I cannot understand and comprehend it. Your local manager/agent for Tamiya would have many repercussion that would affect his future races if he is even able to organize a race again. The problem would arise when there is an infringement of any rules and regulation, I doubt that he can stand firm like how he did before. I cannot understand nor do I know him as a person, but I can transpire that he is either not fit to be the agent for the brand or he just cannot be bothered about his drivers, he is just interested to milking all of you dry of your mula and buy only Tamiya cars. Nothing against Tamiya cars, after driving so many different brands, HPI, Hot Bodies, X-Ray, Yokomos, I feel Tamiya cars have its pros and cons thats why I still have quite a few other cars as there is never a BEST car, because I just love them all. By the way, did anyone of you noticed your country manager/agent's nose after the price giving ceremony? His nose looked a little darker than before the race. He did not stand up to what is right and just concur to what the Japanese officials had to say about what is right or wrong, even when he knows that he is saying yes to the wrong thing.

As for Amat? Are you sure your name is Amat? You sound awfully weird to me. Looks like you are either one of the drivers who cheated, i.e. the Thai buggy driver, or the Hong Kong driver who won M-chassis. You see Amat, there are so many things that you could say about these two people, but there are just so many other issues that happened at the race that has caused these things to blow up. I do not think you are an avid racer who understands what has transpired and what and how things can be done or maybe you are neither and you are the country manager/agent for Malaysia? I am not saying that I am an expert racer, I have only been in this hobby for the past 5 years and I was lucky to be able to be associated with TAC, but now I feel ashamed about it. You comment about the truth and comment about what is logical and right, but not the way you look at it. You are a nobody in the world of RC and you should not make comments, until you are 100% sure about your comment. I do not know how you could come up with such hilariously detailed description that has transpired. You are a funny guy who types funny English but I believe you can type better if you just don't try so hard to hide your identity.

Lets answer what Amat's concern is, let us not be too one sided like Amat said. First of all, I do not believe marshalling duty or quote from Amat's comment, the driver does not know who or what he should be marshalling for next. I do believe if you are not running in the last run of the day, then you must be marshalling for something. What ever it is for, the onus will be on you to find out, not for the annoucer/race director to call for you. You see Amat, you should be the one looking out for your own marshalling duty, please do not comment on such points when you should be asked to do marshalling duty. I believe the Thai driver is an adult? If I am not wrong, then please behave like one and not act like a little child in kindergarten who has to be asked to do this and do that. If you are irresponsible then you pay for the penalties. Amat, grow up, you are an adult too, I assume at this point. oh, by the way, Amat, you did do one thing that is right, again, be like Francis M., please read properly. We are not only commenting on the Thai driver's integrity, we are also shouting at the organizer stating that it is also their fault as doing wrong twice does not equal to a right, its not mathematics.

As for Mr. M-Chassis's lightly tuned motor, I do believe there are comm-lathe that can tru a non-rebuildable motor as beautifully as a normal comm-lathe. So Amat, again, please pay attention to what is available in the whole wide world of RC. For the Rpm limit, there are races that limit the RPM of motors, but only at the beginning of a race, not when you are in the last round of qualifying. Also, you should not be raising the limit to meet who has got the motor to the highest RPM. If I can tune my motor to 20000RPM, are you going to set the limit to 20000? I do not believe this is the right way to do it. The correct way, in my humble opinion, it to obtain a new motor, run it as it is on a motor master or some device that you would be using to test other motors with and set the limit to maybe 10% of the reading and thats it. So there are two mistakes here. Please read it carefully to understand the matter before making a comment about it.

Mr. Wu, you sound really piss off about peoples' accusation. Did you miss out on a point that you pointed out yourself? Why would only your motor and your countryman's motor be the only two motors on the floor that has smaller comm? Both of you are either so lucky or are you two doing something that we don't??? You see Mr. Wu, There are just so many ways to achieve this, which I must admit I have no means of achieving it, if not I would be in A-main fighting for a win like you. How many years have you been in RC? You are the 6th/7th time M-chassis champion and you expect me to believe you when you say you don't know why its is smaller? Oh please!

By the way, Francis M., Amat and Mr. Wu Chak Ming, I wonder if these three people are the same? Your English is just as bad as each other. If I mixed you up, please accept my apologies.

I believe Kraig has a point there in terms of giving a new motor to the driver that has the faster motor that is over the limit of the set 18000rpm.

edison_c, thank you for your comment. I do believe you have a point there. Keep it coming.

therein lies the issue. the inspectors only did their job on the last day? i'd say that was a poor job of maintaining the tech regs as the inspectors jobs should have started on the very first day of practice, not on the last day where the finals happen.

on previous TAC's the inspectors were checking the cars even during the practice runs to ensure the car is as legal as the rules have outlined. the only item in the car they did not enforce was the motor and batteries since they were not the handout items yet. but they did issue warnings to those racers whose cars may have a part or two that is not legal. and come official qualifying time, the inspections were in full force.

as i said before, if the inspector who attended the 2005 TAC in Singapore was there in Malaysia, this sort of thing would not have happened...

Sorry for my bad English. I never try to hide my identity. If you think my name is funny, you too. We are talking about the race, pls dont make fun on people's name.

I don't want to say too much.

Why I know those happen, coz I'm just stand at the side.
Enough to tell why I know it? Enough Why I can comment on it?

You believe it can be make a perfect comm, why dont you contact TAC judge that day? You can do that! And you can show us how you make it! We all want to see it if you show us! Or you just like the Korean player, talk, and then go away without any responsiblility?

Not just mini, GT class I have stand aside and see the whole inspect.

That's why I know.

Anyone think that the judge is not fair, you can contact you team leader! You team leader will talk to the judge about it! If you think you can make perfect comm with the stock comm lathe, don't just talk, show the judge! You can make the history change at that moment!

If you not speak it out at that moment, anything blame on the other right now is just bullshit and useless.

Remember, any racer is not a cheater unless they get caught...

BTW, I can add 1000-1500 RPMs to any silver can just by doing 2 things to it... And not taking it apart either... Of course the comm additive I would use is deemed HAZMAD chemical but is illegal since 1972 or somewhere arund that time.... I got it from my wife's uncle that used to work at GE building/testing jet engines.. I got about 2 tablespoons let and can't make it either....
