Default Corally Assasin Master? Input?

Sup all. I am looking at this new Corally Assin Master edition on the net and in my new RC touring magazine, and this car looks AWESOME!

You can change this car from 2 belt, to 1 belt, rear motor or mid motor setup.... they call it the "shapeshifter".

Does anybody have any input on this car? Is it easy to build? Easy to tune? Easy to buy parts for? Fast? Worth the 400$ price tag? CHEAPER PLACE TO BUY IT????

I have one that I got the first run on this past weekend. Car was pretty good out of the box. In order to run it in mid motor form you must buy a differnt chassis. But you can use single and dual belts out of the box.

Car is very light, fairly easy to build (all parts fit great), very durable and parts are easy to get. Superior Hobbies (corally usa) has every thing in stock for the kits. The drive train in single belt spins better than any other car on the market out of the box. The dual belt is the freeest dual belt car you will feel (just not as free as the single).

Hope this helps

The car looks most impressive so far... but there appear to be some major weaknesses so far.. like a poorly designed rear diff,,, and weak arms/hub carriers.... hhmm.. ill need to see the mission 2 first

You are kidding arnt you? The arms are made from machined delrin, the only really weak spot is the steering knuckles, but that can be fixed with a bigger bumper

true, but they were in the mid motor mount cars, where the gap between the chassis and the spur was less than a mm. So anything bigger than a spec of dust stripped em. They fixed this up by boiling the gears, and now having nylon gears

Na the cars strong as

In 3 meets i have brocken 1 front body post. You get that when you hit something head on that doesnt move on full throttle! That crash threw all my electronics out of the car (except servo) including moveing the motor forward in its mounts.
