Any plans on making TC wheels (foam & rubber) out of this carbon material? It would be cool to have an option even with spec racing.

im pretty sure thats just a carbon wrap/sticker.. it would be pretty impractical to make rims out of CF, theyd break like corally 75% arms

Try Scotty at Trackside. He may have some left over from the race. We are shipping to distributors this week.

What is the paint on the rims? I looked at one on Donny Lia's car and they look like paint but at the same time it looked like a sticker.

Ran them at a local club event this past Sunday. This is a parking lot track but has pretty good grip as they spray the layout liberally with sugar based solution.

I was afraid that they would not generate enough rear grip but to my surprise, the car had plenty of rear grip with the lilac rears!! However, I could not generate enough steering. I was using my CRC Gen-X 10 and I could have narrowed the front track which would have helped but I was running in two other classes and did not have enough time to make a change like that.

Overall, with a little more testing, I think these tires will work just fine. Good job, Jack!!

It is not paint or a sticker it will not come off it is some new trick stuff Jack has and it was for the spec tire at the IIC so everyone new they were spec tires ,but people like them so much that we will be selling them like that ...Hope that helps later Drew.....

I ran these on a formula 10 yesterday on our indoor carpet track, medium traction. They were surprisingly stuck. I ran them with both a 13.5 and a 17.5. They also exhibited VERY good wear characteristics. They were cut to 2.1/2.2 at the beginning of the day and only lost .5 to .75 mm after 5-6 runs. I was also very surprised that with lots of bang ups and board meetings there was not one chunk, tear, or rip anywhere on the tires. I can't wait to start running these!
