Default Xray 008 Cheap Parts!!!

Hi Dudes
As an Xray Owner you should know the part prices !
And If you are in Europe Like me you are in more Trouble....
I know They are Better but Dearer at the same time...
I'm just Wondering Is there any Alternative Parts to Xray parts For example You can have Top racing Belt tensioner for the half price of Xray Belt Tensioner...
I'm After some CVDs (Drive Shafts) you know it's always handy to have couple of them as a spare But I've shocked When I see the Prices ,here In Uk Dogbone 13.99 pounds and axle 10.99 British Pounds!!!
Does anybody tried any other make of Driveshafts on 008 Tamiya ones etc.
Any idea Welcome

I think that's because of High Tax costs... Every item almost double price if you compare to US or HK

Even in the US the xray stuff is more per part, for $6 you get 1 chub, for $8.50 you get a losi set with 2 chubs and 2 steering knuckles. When I had my t2 I got all the alum parts then the arms would break, it was a no win situation.

Me thinks some body needs a 12th scale... $50 in parts is enough for the lifetime of the car. You replace parts because they wear... not break.

The 12th scalers in our area must stink. Most of them never finish a race b/c something breaks.
