Rob, you'd really be better off pitting in the hotel, you have to be at tech when the heat before yours is running. How are you gonna know when that is?

i figure i will be just watching the races and know when my heat is getting close and go get my car

it's not that i don't want to stay in the hotel but the hotel said the nightly rate it 70 (champs discount) bucks a night so i i get it for 4 nights thats like 280 bucks and 60 to race so for a r/c event 340 buck min. not including everything else you need to be competive.
like i said this will be my first time there i am not sponsered but i have been racing for several years and i love the competition.
so the way i see it if you want to run with the best in the country and learn and better your racing skills you have to make it one way or another.

maybe i will get lucky and find a buddy or two to change there minds and make the trip with me and we might go that route but as for now i just want to race the cleveland nats any way i can

rob,

Hope you find some people to go with man. I can't imagine running that race not in the hotel. Yeah and it does cost a lot...save up!
