Good lord you just can't let it die, can you? I was using the word "you" in the general form, not saying that Scootr117 was the one who boiled it all down. Just get over it!

I'll go start another "stupied" thread for you now!

Well I will say this, I am now in the process of designing something new and unheard of for the 12th pan cars. Time will tell if it works or not. But lets say a new faster, lighter weight brushless lipo powered pan car is on the way. It will be tested thoroghly at the Cam track by not just me but a couple other lucky individuals.
Now I need to find someone willing to make some 12th mini rubber radials with soft as hell rubber to make the package complete......... Maybe some Xray 18th rubbers might work....... Hmmmmmmm
Now who can make the adapters?

Hold tight Reen, the revolution is coming, and its name is ........

Not unheard of...several people have been testing lipo with BL in 1/12th. Faster isn't needed...they are allready too fast as it is for most drivers.

You could run a rubber tire class, but just as it does in TC, performance WILL suffer. A rubber compound soft enough to hook-up a 12th scale chassis as well as foams will last approximately one run. I personally would rather do the math and use the truer, rather than buy all of those tires. As for brushless, it's here. Lipo will further complicate the rubber tire issue by reducing the weight even more. Unfortunately, racing in any scale or formula will always involve work, and will ALWAYS be too expensive for some to be comfortable with, it's the nature of the beast.

Hey man, if anyone deserves to be a tester it's me after the ass-reaming I've gotten in this thread.

Unfortunately, I think Rocksmith will probably be testing his own creations with a giant grin on his face! That is if he hasn't gotten himself killed with that big-ass buggy yet.

Rocksmith, the 808 is fun isn't it It saddened me that I sold mine after only half a gallon of use. 8th buggy has been my life for the past 2 years. Good luck with your 12th scale findings. Ill try my hardest to be out next race, but I won't have what I need to race my R5 yet.

Yea I havent got to play with the 808 much as the MGM esc in it is fubar. Should get my MMM for her today and its time to go to the Cam track and tear it up a bit.

Doubt I will have my 1/12th ready for the next race as well but I might if things go well. Need to do some more machining on some of her parts and get the new motor system installed. Have some custom batts on order with Maxamps and not quite sure when Im getting those back.
I have quite a few emails out to manufactureers for some custom stuff to see what we can do with the pan car scene. I see drastic changes in the near future guys! And its all going down at our local track.
