Can anyone help me ID this vintage 1/10 scale pan car?

I beleive the front suspension is from an associated 10L, but I need to know who made the chassis or original kit. Email me with any questions or for more pictures - [email protected]

this is a delta car. The tripple shock rear pod was there signature. Unfortunately I dont know the model name, but I can tell you that is an early to mid 80's car. so that puts it around 25 years old.

That is is a Hyperdrive. Uses lots of parts from Delta but not a Delta. It looks like someone drilled the front end holes to use an AE one, but it originally used a beam front axle.

Definately not a Delta.

Looks like Hyperdrive with Associated front end and that car was around in the late 80's to early 90's.
Also, I think the spur gear is on the wrong side for oval racing, even though I have see some people try to run the car that way with the motor and spur on the left side instead of the right side. I think to do that one had to wire the motor backwards.

That looks like the Agitator to me...can't remember who made it. I used to race against a bunch of them. I don't remember the Hyperdrive using 3 shocks.

But I agree, that is definatly a early Hyperdrive.

definately NOT a Delta car. they were more known for the solid bar front end than the rear shocks, that lots of companies used.

The Agitator was designed and raced by a gentleman named Lois Leblonc. He was very fast in 1/12 scale back in the 80's!

If you look closely it has a pulley, not a spur gear. The Hyperdrive cars were belt driven, that's why it's on the left side.

Looks more like a spur then a pulley to me. Yes Hyperdrive ran a belt on the left side but they also had conversion kits for other cars. Also some people ran a reverse wind motor on the left for ovals using a pinion and spur.

I want to say it is a Hyperdrive SC or SSE, I can't remember but I had one with quick change battery slide trays for the 500 lap Winston Cup races we had in the late 80's early 90's.

For sure a hyperdrive,however the agitator was designed by Lucas Garneu (lucas agitator).was raced by leblanc though.

i don't know what you're looking at, but i'm pretty sure that's a spur gear and not a pulley. but anyway, lots of folks replaced the pulley with a spur if they had trouble locating the hyperdrive replacements

Left side drive. back in the days of trying to get all weight on the left we would run reversible motors on the left. Heck even trinity made plates to mount the switchblade on that side. And yes I will agree with this being a hyperdrive. the black fiberglass was their trademark in the day.
