I think you're getting the reaction because people are starting to tire of the "post on a forum ask the company later" mentality.

Speaking of your last post though, if you have multiple systems how are you going to miss racing? Why not remove the GTB out of your stadium truck for a weekend and put it in that TC5?

Unless he used that same S/C for all those cars? But ya, just remove one of those s/cs in one of your other cars and use that in your touring car till the other one gets back.. When i was on a VERY tight H/S budget back in the day, i used to lay down the velcro in a big strip on the chassis and stuck the same S/C in multiple cars. I had plugs going into my motor so it was a simple disconnect and reconnect w/o soldering.

I think that would depend on how late you are at the tables and whether you got any sleep at all.

It was because you weren't asking set-up questions, you made what was sounding like yet another manufacturer bashing thread where the manufacturer really wasn't to blame. As others have suggested, the only person that failed you and forgot about you was your buddy at the hobby shop who never called novak to check up. You chose to enter the third entity into the equation, and they're the one you should have questioned. Plain and simple.

THAT ONE SENTENCE RIGHT THERE SAYS IT ALL! Pick up the phone and call em or shoot them an email FIRST. What else were you trying to accomplish other than making them look bad? Other than Charlie, theres nobody on these forums that can do anything about it. Right?

First mistake: Having your LHS ship it out. Some LHS use UPS and have pick-ups 1-2 times a week, and if some one else "makes" sure the package is shipped then another single point of failure. If you want something done right the first time then do it yourself.

Second mistake: You post reads like some one who expects the world to stop and take care of your problems. Did you ask LHS how/when/etc it was shipped? Is there a tracking number? Have you got the above information and confirmed that it did ship and was delivered to Novak?

Third mistake: Getting sympathy from the posters in here?

Fourth and final mistake: Only 5 posts means you are not that experienced as us experts....

theisgroup, you are lucky... Charlie sees me and gives me the finger!!!!

Thye Go away I'm busy finger BTW.....

Regardless of the reasoning and facts, in this case you screwed up by checking with Novak first before posting this, and you posted nothing about you attempt to contact them yourself. Here you are publicly bashing Novak and blaming them for your ignorance. Just because you saw the LHS employee box it up, DOES NOT mean that it got shipped out that day. Are you now going to tell us you watched the box be picked up by the delivery guy?

Come on now, grow a set and contact Novak yourself for a status BEFORE you decide to post again.

BTW - Novak does not take long to process warranties, usually around 2-3 weeks including shipping to and from.
Wow, you are really bashing this guy for asking a question about how long it takes. Ease up!

The number of posts has nothing to do with the user's knowledge or how long they have been in RC. Maybe they lurked a long time. Maybe they forgot their password and created a new account. I could post 5 million times, it wouldn't necessarily mean I knew anything about RC.

If 3 or 4 people have posted about Novak customer service recently maybe it means something???

It means NOTHING. Why dont you go back and read how retarded the other Novak threads were. One guy started a thread in EVERY section on rctech trying to bash Novak when it all came down to HIS stupidity. He paid for expedited shipping, and he thought he was getting ripped off when his item had not even shipped yet. It was explained to him VERY clearly over and over again that at this time Novak does not have expedited HANDLING which is what he thought he paid for.

BTW, thats REAL classy putting that in your sig.

I think it is important to remember this ...

You pay a phone bill so you can call people, i.e, ask your cable company why your internet is out or bitch at novak when your esc fails.

You pay a cable bill so you can have internet and download porn.

Default Great help on RCTECH.net.........

Why bash this guy, like you all said he's only got 5, well 6 posts now. So maybe he is new to the sport of RC racing and Racers, or Bench Racers like the ones ripping him are the kind of people that turn the newbie away. How bout you represent your sport with a little class and help someone out. This could have been his first issue ever with NOVAK, so he asked a question to the "experts" as you put it and what did he get? Jack!!

Nib, I had a GTB not work right out of the box. I shipped it in and in about 4and a half weeks I got a new one back from NOVAK.

Oh wait sorry, don't take my experience to heart, As "NOVA F1 RACER"
""Fourth and final mistake: Only 5 posts means you are not that experienced as us experts...."""

Nib, check out rcracing.com, not as many A$$es on those pages. You are ALLOWED to ask any question without being jumped on for not being as experienced as the "experts"

Like a few have said, give NOVAK a call, they are very helpful and want to put out a good product.
