Default Very good question about Servo's

Ok. I always see that I want my Servo's connecter wires shorter, like on my Hi-Tech HS-81MG for the Micro RS4.

Um... My question is where can I get those Servo connecter clamps at? You know the tiny clamps that go on the ends of your servo's wires and then they are installed into the connecter?

Those tiny little clamps. That would be the best way to reshorten a wire with ease, anybody know where I can get some?

I doubt you can replace the clamps, I own the digital high-speed servo from Hitec and yes the servo signal wire was 10 ft. long-longest wire I've seen on a servo, I desoldered the wires off the board and shortened it that way

I tired to do that on 2 servo's and ended up messing them up.

You can always shorten it at the wire itself, just be carefull to pretin the wires lightly and don't use too much solder to do the job, I work with .041" solder for everything, it doesn't take much. Also, don't forget to put heat shrink tubing on the wires before you solder, I'd use 3 for each wire and then 1 to fully insulate the connection.

I have used those before and they work great. I didn't get the crimping tool, just used pliers.
