Why is HPI coming out with all of these new cars? They already came out with the ProD earlier in the year... I guess this is the belt drive edition...?

HPI just keeps throwing cars out. It's clearly following the ProD with the new orange anodized aluminum. Maybe the ProD and this model were designed simultaneously and were released staggered so that they could stop production on this belt drive chassis if the shaft didn't go so well.

I admire HPI's drive to put new chassis' out there, but I haven't seen anything of the Pro-D in the US and I don't know if there is much parts support, if any.

this isnt a new car from HPI/HB

This was custom built by James "Raine" Revilla of XRC Magazine and RC Drift Club

check out RCdriftclub.com for more details on it!

I really don't see anything special about this chassis. It looks way too close to the other cyclones available.

This isnt a complete new chassis from HB. A drifter bought a worlds cyclone anodized it orange and put a spool diff in the rear. Nothing else is different.
