Every single time me or any of my Novak running friends had an issue with a Novak product, their customer service went above and beyond our expectations. Never were we left feeling like we wanted a problem resolved differently. If there was some special circumstance we needed worked around, they would consistently work with us to work around it. There are very few other companies in RC I can say that about.

Even when we broke something due to our own rampant stupidity, Novak never treated us like the morons we were, and instead offered up their more than generous non-warranty replacement policy when they could have just as easily offered us nothing.

Based on what I've seen here, my experiences have been the rule, that makes the original poster the exception.

I too have had nothing but good luck with Novak's product and their customer support, way to go guys.

As for Spook, you sound like the typical IDIOT that bullies their way around life to hope that people will back down just to get rid of you or to shut you the hell up, I'm glad that Novak is standing their grounds and not give in to such idiotic tactics. Grow up dude, it's about time, this way the rest of us who are decent human beings will not be group in with you just because we play with toy cars

How you approach situations can dictate the outcome more than you know. I dont know the details but i see my fair share of people who approach situations (like this one) very negatively right from the start. This will get you nowhere. And wont get you a new motor.

On a side note my dealings with novak have always been good. Remove this thread its trash.

I agree. I work in customer service...and when i have a customer that comes up to me with a problem and is cool about it, i want to go out of my way to help them. When i have a customer that comes up to me and is a dick and is swearing at me, i will find every way possible NOT to help them. You CANNOT expect Novak to do anything for you if you REFUSE to send them your motor. I'm having an issue right now with a 10.5 in my T4, and i called them and the basically told me that they would replace it for free if it was a defect and would charge me the non-warranty fee if it wasn't a defect, but that i had to SEND THE MOTOR IN SO THEY COULD LOOK AT IT FIRST. Sounds to me like you wanted them to give you a new motor without you even sending the old one in.....NO company will do that, not Castle, not Traxxas, not Hitec, NO COMPANY will.

I've been using novak since I bought my first rooster back in 1995. Their customer service has been stellar ever since those days and I'd dare say it's even better now with the likes of Steve Weiss and such.

Some times... if you're the only one having problems... you have to take a step back and think... Is it me?
