Odd, you figure all that AMB money would help...Not to mention, they have like 3 new cars coming out in the last year. Seems like a strange plan if you are losing money.

If Randy would have won the Reedy this wouldn't have happened. I blame him for all this

i think they are really just moving the production an headquarter. this no problem because many brands made this before without any problems. what for releasing new cars and then and not sell them. no one would do that when money is to short.
i just ordered the s120 a week ago and hope my prediction is right. making a decision like this for a factory is a process and not figured in 10 minutes. i am sure there will not be big probs with selling their stuff during the coming period.

RC business is not easy to do now especially now days. If Serpent made enough money for the rest of the life. I sure they do. Then go ahead to close the business and Hawaii the rest of the life. Why struggle? Serpent is not here helping you or the RC scene for their existing. This is pure business, nothing else. You guys are nobody for Serpent if you don't help them make their money.

...and where pray tell did you hear that Marcos? One of your reliable sources? Why don't people let shit ACTUALLY happen before they start flapping their gums? I don't even know what ALL the details are, so I can bet no one else on here unless they have spoken to Rene Cornella or Michael Salven directly.

The link posted from redrc pretty much says it all

the problem is that for the US market Serpent hasn't yet stated who will continue distribution...they are working on something with some companies which will help continue US distribution, but are still working on a long term solution...no details though

Felix Law will be happy...the less Snakes at the FSEARA, the easier...its the only car that can take it to them Cyclones

Hopefully now everyone understands that what Serpent is doing is closing PRODUCTION in Holland and moving all operations to Asia. As has been written by Michael Salven / Ronald Baar.

This can only be a positive as now with larger production capabilities there will be better parts availability. Not to mention since our US Dollar is pretty much worthless, particularly against the Euro, there is a good possibility that we will not see an increase in pricing but a REDUCTION in cost to the consumer.

So lets see....larger production runs = more parts availability worldwide and lower manufacturing costs = lower cost to the consumer.

it's a win win situation.

P.S. Marcos, I'd like to see you try!!

Thanks Butta...
This sounds very positive and seems like a good reason for me to keep my S400. The concept of having better parts availability is a great thing. I just wish I could find some today from one place.
