I would like to go with Li Po too.

I'm sick with too many batteries, chargers, dischargers, and regular maintenance.

ditto on that. sold my 2nd charger, trays, nimh batts already.
seaball just bumped all the lipo threads. anyway i'm just waiting for feedback from locals on how ambient temp affects lipos long term. Its very hot in the tropics.

I know certain type of lithium batteries come is a cylindrical form. Does anyone know if they come in a sub c sized cell?

The beauty of LiPo is only 2 cells.

YESSSS !!!

Between heats and finals, just press charge. No need to get full charge. No need to discharge. No need maintenance. No headche for gearing vs run time. Always punchy ( 7.4V continuous ). Only use 1 battery per car as long as you feel is right.
