In my T1 Evo2 i got perfect weight distribution with lipo on left side and electronics on the other. It is orion 4800 lipo.

I bought the stick pack mount for the T1FK and mounted an Orion 3200 sideways on the chassis. My 4800 fits as well but the belt rubs the case slightly. I had to do some sanding to get the batteries to fit but the result was worth it.........The car is balanced

If you have an FK04 with the stock chassis you can run a stick pack all the way down 1 side and your electronics down the other. This way you'd get pretty good balance without adding alot of weight.
Here's a pic with a NiMh pack but this would work much better with lipos do to thier light weight.

As for the T1 Fk04, the saddle packs will work perfectly.

Converted a old T1 to lipo's. Tried MaxAmp 4.4 lipo's, mounted with double stick tape, no problem on loosing them. Good for bashing. TrakPower 4800 Saddlebacks are ROAR approved. Just for the heck of it, I'm trying it at a local track this coming weekend.

Thanks for the help. I did convert my car to run stick packs for an enduro race last year although it had perfect balance but the saddle packs seemed to be better in my opinion. I did have at trakpower but the dimensions are just a fraction too big but I will keeping looking thanks for all the input its been great.
