To get your final outdrive ratio (which is the overall ratio of your gears) you simply do some math:

spur/pinion times your cars gear box ratio which should be in your manual.

like with my car I'm using a 88t spur and a 24t pinion so my formula would look like this:
88/24 x 1.83= 6.71

The 1.83 is my cars gear box ratio. You generally want to keep your final outdrive ratio around or above 7, dont go less otherwise you'll probably cook your motor.

Hope that helps
