Yes, all the way 32 steps basically linear at that setting. I run two caps in parallel. I run a reciever pack to power the radio gear and personall. Yes I ran it like in stock, I never plan on running stock so the car stays the same. Although I did run the boster with the Diode. Hope this answers you Q'sss.
Later CD

Chris , you run the booster and the shotkey diode on the motor together, this is the diode you are talking about, the shotkey? where do you find any room for that much stuff?? The booster is huge!! I was wondering if it could be run inline on the wires instead of directly on the motor, or would this cause the speedo to go poof!

thanks rogt

You know I have no problem fitting anything in a sedan and talk about big check out a Novak!!!!!! You can run the stuff in line with the wires but it is best on the motor! I have only used the booster in stock I always run 7 or 8 turn mods. Best of luck CD

rogtsaamokin,
You can run the diode or the hyper booster in-line, but ideally it should be on the motor. The closer you can get this to the motor, the more eff. and less noise you will have from your motor. If you are worried about blowing up the hyper booster (it's not cheap, i know), place the super shotki diode that came with the VFS in parallel. The open eyelits on the super shotki will allow you to solder the Hyper Booster through it. Make sure to leave room so that you can still solder the Hyper booster up. This should prevent the sudden misfortune of you Hyper Booster.

Hey Chris haven't seen you since outdoor nats. What setting did you use in Cleveland for 1/12? Also I have been told that if you don't have a switch for the reciever pack you can just use the one on the esc by removing the positive wire going to the reciever. Thanks bro.

Kingcrab,
You can use the super shotki diode long with hyper booster. The super shotki diode is part #45513.

The VFS J version should be in next week. If it doesn't make it in due to the new year, it will be the following week. Production in Japan has been trying to catch up with the demands. Sorry for the delay. Blackketter?, he's just a puppy dog. LOL He called me on Thrusday, hounding me down. All ways busting my BxLLS! He keeps me on my toes! LOL

Jason,
Your package did leave, I beleive on Friday. Expect a delay from the holiday shipping service. Looks like even US Priority mail (usually 2-3 days) takes about 6 now.

Hello,

In Novemeber 2002 when I participated to HPI worlds I purchased 1 VFS2000 and 1 VFS2000J.

The only differences I could/can understand are that the J version isn't carbon and has cables!

1. Is this J version same as the one I have?
2. Are there any more serious difference between the two VFS2000 and VFS2000J?

Nick
