Hey thanks for the help guys. The VFS is awesome. I could really tune in the punch with the setting adaptor. I ran the Snowbirds setup on a very tight track. It seemed like the rip came on later than i would have liked. Moved the setting to a lower point on the trigger--money! I'm sold.

What is KO Propo policy on the following....

Repair/Replacement of warranty or nonwarranty items?

and will they service the Hot Bodies Hara Twister?

I know that novak has it outlined in a pdf on how they handle these things...i couldn't find info on KO's site.

robk...you got me thinking about the KO after seeing your car :P

I have to say, I'm massively impressed with VFS-2000 and I got a setting adapter on ebay (believe it or not, I got it for $6!!!). I'm just starting to race electric TC and last Friday was my 3rd club race in stock, and I finally spent the time uploading the "technical stock" setting from KO site onto my ESC (I was just running the factory esc setting the last 2 races), and it's just got loads of punch and pulled away from anyone at will. TQ'ed and won, so I actually have to say it was largely due to the ESC and the new setting. The motor was a bit on the hot side though, I might have to tune it "down" a bit. I'm still learning about electric TC.... what exactly is considered as hot on a motor? And like Robert M said, the lower the number, it definitely requires rebuilding more often then the factory esc setting.

thanks,
Dom

Dom, if it's the handouts from the nats, anything short of a 3rd degree burn in your fingertips after running is not geared high enough

I'll keep that in mind and have my health insurance card in my back pocket!!!

This particular track I race electric TC on isn't from our club, straight is about 2/3 of the Nats. Track is small(er) and no sweeping turns, just pretty much all 90 or 180 corners..... should I or should I not be running the Monster Stocks hot?

Warranty on radio systems is 90 days against manufacture's defects. All others we warranty that their is no manufacture defect at time of purchase. All warranty claims must include a copy of the receipt. Items purchased outside of the US must be sent to Japan or back to where it was purchased for service.

Items for service can be sent here. Or you can send it directly to KO PROPO USA. The VFS based speedos can only be repaired at KO PROPO USA.

We will service the Hara Twister or you can send it back to Hot Bodies. Claims for the Hara Twister must be made with Hot Bodies directly.

The Hyper Booster has shotki diodes and FET inside to help with motor efficiency, noise and increase RPM.

Ko propo called it "hyper booster" but what is the common name for it . Like the "power capacitor" is actually electrolytic capacitor.

KO does not disclose technical specs on the charger.

This is the common name for it. It is a patent pending item. No one else makes it.
