And which cap(or caps) could I be using at best.

I'm talking European 8th scale circuit here!

Thanks guys.
Hi, try out my Nats setup for 19turn, It was freakin dialed. And try it, then let me know how it runs, and we can tweak it from there. If the track is really big, and you dont really notice the torque my setup has (you should notice the torque on a regular track), then take the ALL, and move all of the frequencies higher to get better run time, or more eff.

Let me know,
Mike

Oh ya, if you cant find it on here, go to Ko's site and download the 19turn Nats setup, that was mine.

Misfitz,

Thanks.
I was thinking along the same lines as you.
I'll probably be dialing it up.
I'll keep you posted.

Did you notice any difference between the caps, oe way or another?

Regards,
Pizza

Well, I have messed with both the super cap, or what ever it is called, it is like 2500 or 2400 microfarads, and I have also tried two of the 1000 microfarads, or the stock ones together, and cant tell the different. I know the one big one works really well in mod though, and probably in 19turn, I would go with the higher capacity one.

Hugo, the VFS-2000 and VFS-2000 J are the same speedo. The only difference is the connector.

Hara uses the VFS-2000 with a different case. It's called a Hara Twister.

As for the newest one, the VFS-1 Pro, its coming out soon.

ok, well
First: The VFS-2000 and VFS-2000 J are not the same. The VFS-2000 J is designed for a new racer. It stores a certain amout of power for the servo, that along with some others minor things.

Second: The new speedo is coming out in a month or so. Very soon now. You don't really need to see the specs because it is going to blow away everything out .
But seriously, we already talked about the new speedo one or two pages back. BUT!!!! to refresh. It is smaller than the current one, the lowest freq. is a bit higher, but the highest frequency is much much higher, 12,000Hz versus 6,000Hz. And yes, you do have to use a programmer, like the current one. Although you wont be able to use the same programmer because of the more steps in the Freq.

the new VFS1 will be "THE ESC".......

it's cheaper if compare to the older one, very, very strong, smaller, beautiful =]=]=]=]=]=]=] and the new ultimate schottky seems to be great!!!

When i had to get my VFS2000J repaired, my only problem was convinsing them that a 3 month old speedo should be repaired under warranty(bareing in mind it was the first time i had used the thing and it went wrong, i was feeling very upset when at first when i was confronted with a you'll have to pay answer).

Anyway i think robert had it for 2days before it was in the post back to me which i think is a very good turn around !!
