"The J version was designed as more of a semi-professional product, for those that found it sort of difficult to dial the VFS in. "---ko propo staff

So replacing the 15ga wire and going to a super shotki would be basically the same as a vfs2000? With the exception of the radio priority. of course...

Basically,
The main difference is the whole thing with it reserving power for the servo when the batteries go low.

i dont think you can program the keyence like you can the vfs tho. even if you can.. do you really want to program 200 steps?

I'm going to be buying a vfs 2000 J esc because my cyclone TC recently died. I was running my friends vfs 2000 this weekend in my 1/12 scale in 12th scale mod. The esc was set on the default setting, it seemed way too puncy for me. I didn't have the programmer so I couldnt change the setting on the esc. In order to make the esc have less punch would I increase the frequency? But doesnt increasing the frequency also decrease run time? Or is it the other way around? Also does the vfs 2000 J have different built in throttle programs like the novaks and some other esc's? Can you save different throttle profiles in the programmer? Sorry bout all the questions. BTW - I love this esc though, its so small compared to my old cyclone TC, also the solder posts are so easy to solder to (especially with 16 gauge wire ) and the on/off button is great. That way it wont get turned off in the middle of a race because you have to hold it down to turn it off. I can't wait till I have my own . Thanks in advance.

from what i know, increasing the frequency lowers the punch, and increases runtime.

higher freq= less punch
lower freq= more punch

if you want, i have a vfs that needs to go!!

Any body know if they make the software on a CD? My laptop only takes CDs and doesn't have a floppy drive.
