Here's a new HPI '68 Camaro that I did this past weekend. I'm not trying to cause any contraversy. I know that there probably wasn't one like this on VTA circuit with flames. But, you gotta understand, I grew up in the 1970's and THIS is what I saw at the car shows I begged my parents to let me go to... A black Camaro is a black Camaro and a hot rod flame job just plain works!

Not sure if I will sell this body or keep it at this point. If I keep it and race it, I'll put numbers on it and make it USVTA legal, I promise.

All the paint is Faskolor. Just their basic colors with chrome accents. Most of my time was spent on layout and cutting Fasmask as you might guess. The actual painting part didn't take long.

The body is sitting too high on my TC5 chassis because I wasn't wanting to put holes in it yet until I decide what I'm doing with the body.

I get the privilege of getting to mess Scott's car up.

(Scott and I usually are running together mid-pack.)

Very nice. its a sad day when you have to say your not trying to cause contraversy for painting something you like.
