Default core rc charger

question about this charger:

on the charger it has two sets of plugs 1 is for a dc adapter and the other is pos and neg clips, what is the positive and negative clips for also it is says 12volts dc only, does that mean a power supply of 14 volts can not be used?

Also the setup instructions given are not the greatest, any ideas or other places to get better instructions?

thanks

The Core RC Charger has 2-sets of Power Input plugs for versatility. You only need to use a power single input. I removed the clips and soldered on the 4mm gold banana style plugs to use on a power distribution block.

As for the 12VDC "only", anything power supply between 11.5V to 14.4V will work fine. I used a Novak 9A, Ofna 18A, and Competition Electronics 23A power supplies on my Core RC charger without issues. Each of those power supply has slightly different power output voltage.
