Default Looking to go brushless, Any suggestions?

Sorry if there is another thread like this, but I don't know much about brushless and need some help deciding what to get. I was leaning toward Speed Passion. Any imput would be appreciated. Thanks

stock would be 17.5 brushless, i would recomend the novak ss pro 17.5 bl motor and the lrp tc spec esc. many people run the combo and looking at a ton of peoples setups here, they use that esc.

In the 17.5 or 10/5 class, the Tekin RS is an awesome controller. Small, light-weight (which is a huge plus if you're planning on going Lipo later). I've switched from the LRP to the Tekin and the weight-savings alone were worth it for me. A friend runs the SP 10.5 motor and it seems to pull very well. I am sure the 17.5 would be a good paring with the RS speed controller.
