Lightbulb Trinity Reflex 12

Lets have a tread on this car.
Looks good from the pics.

Balanced wheelhub.

Low CG motorpod.

Features:

- Lowest 1/12 Car in the World!

- Designed for use with super low profile tires (from 2.10" down
to 1.70" dia.) for optimum handling on all track surfaces

- Ultra Low Center-of-Gravity

- Super Low Profile Rear Pod Design to clear even the lowest of
bodies.

- Will have a new body designed just for this car that is "super
slammed" with killer downforce

- Motor mounted an additional .050" lower to the ground and still
centered

- Battery position is fully adjustable and can now be moved an
additional 0.100" further back towards the rear axle

- Perfectly balanced Left Side Clamping Hub (first in the world!)

- Ultra Lightweight Diff Hub Assembly with "Large" style diff rings

- Innovative front bumper design for increased front downforce
and durability

- Adjustable rear body mount positions for maximum rear
downforce adjustability.

- All new adjustable front and rear lightweight aluminum body
posts to fine tune your body height

- Ultra Stiff, ultra lightweight carbon fiber and T6 aircraft grade
aluminum throughout

Now lets hope Trinity uses high quality carbon fibre and not the
crapy fiberglass sandwished between two layers of carbon fibre
like on the switchblade.

Only needs the counterweight on one side to counter the clamp screw...

Dont you need to balance it at least 3 ways for it to be in balance? For the same reason they went from 2 to 3-bolt hubs?

They shouldn't need to do more than 2 ways, the bolt only upsets the weight on 1 side, so adding the same weight to the other side should be fine.

will it use a fiberglass t-plate or spring steel? the main reason i switched from an RC12 to a CRC carpet knife is i keep breaking those t-plates if the reflex 1/12 comes is equipped with a steel one (or offers one as a hop-up), i may sell my CRC

Nobody knows what it comes with yet, the chassis could be made of aluminum at this point for all we know... (Not gonna happen, just making a point..)

probly will be more available than the switchblade because 12 scale is making a comeback and they dont want to loose on the profit of selling hop ups and spare parts .
with all these company making new cars iam sure they'll hit it full bore especially with josh driving and sphasset

we will see

When the Trinity switchblade 2002 edition came out i was going to get one. Tower had one pictured in catalog, called and got "not in stock" and would not be carrying due to limted availability. Tower is Great Planes Distributing. our Hobby shop get their stuff from Horizon and they don't carry them. Some of the guys mention on other forums that if you really need parts don't go thru the SHOPATRON, call direct and you might get them.
i could go on & on.

when one of the top Trinity drivers came to our town who had one, i asked why they are so hard to get and how copuld i get one. he basically told me don't. he said Trinity is focusing on other classes and that support for the factory drivers is tuff.

I HOPE THAT CHANGES

RC Car action has helped 1/12 scale get a boost just by having done a article on the SB car a while back, the Masami YRX12, then Doseck's SB from Cleveland. all were done over a 1.5 year period. i wasn't racing 12th after having been out of it since 1989 and when i heard others talking, getting interested, i jumped back in.

With 2 major stories on the SB, Trinity didn't boost production? even slightly
