You hit the nail on the head. Losi found this to be the case years ago back in the early 90's that shock oil could be used while cooking/drinking. They tested long and hard that not only was this going to bigger than sliced bread but adding color to the normally plain shock oil gave it the attraction it was looking for and sales were booming.....

....but not to be out done Trinity tested even farther and found out that racers were packing on the pounds all of a sudden and everything pointed to the shock oil. Not wanting to re-do their graphics by placing the word "DIET" to their oils they decided to offer in between oils (less fat) The first one to hit the market was 27.5 or was it 32.5? Anyway....the war had begun. I believe that AE was the pioneer of the shock oil war.....but due to protestors and a slip and fall demo in a mall they backed off and had to settle for numerous world championships instead. A very nice trade off if you ask me but I believe this was the main reason why Matt Francis left the team.....his picture was to be on the 20-40wt bottles.....LOL

This is all in fun as I am bored as well so I hope this doesn't offend anyone but if it does...........shock oil in the eye at the IIC

googled and found this

http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/globalcitiz...df/elmd082.pdf

apparently its not that bad. says that if you swallow it you should drink water to dilute it and that at temperatures above 300F it can make formaldehyde.

I hope you guys realize that you don't have to swallow it to taste it The really good question is why would you want to know? I bet a cold beer would always taste better than a shock oil, no matter what. At least if it's not Bud's...

yea but there is more of a thrill gulping down a nice bottle of shock oil than beer. everybody drinks beer, sorry but im not a follower and i found a substitute besides shock oil gets me a little more buzzed.
