Speedo was an LRP TC Spec with punch on one from the highest setting. Motor was temping around 130-140 F.

Although it was on a really small track - something like a 30m straight, so maybe thats why I was geared so differently from the numbers you're talking about??
See here its the opposite. i have been geared in the 4.5-4.6 range and have been struggling to keep up i am currently geared at 4.2-4.3 @160F

Go with the speed passion, much better than N but slightly larger footprint. I have a Tekin RS Pro and it's so compact compared to my old GTB. Both SP and Tekin are so much easier to setup, configure, adjust and customizable with your computer so it will also get firmware upgrades unlike the orange one.

btw...400th post!
Once again it appears that Novak has a very loose grip on reality.

I recommend the Losi Xcelorin, primarily because Losi is the only manufacturer willing to break the informal pricing agreement on brushless race ESCs. It's also known as the 'no one competes, everyone gets rich' philosophy of business.

ask 'geeunit0104' he runs that combo in his tc5. usually find him in the micro forum (national champ in 1/18).
