I have 2 pulsars, used to have a Novak Milleneum Pro and a Pitbull. My Novak sucks because it kept on false peaking my batts and no way to adjust (algorithym whatever). I replaced it with the Pulsar and found out it was charging my batteries better that my Pitbull with it's standard settings. So I sold the pitbull and now has two Pulsars and has been great.

Excellent Charging
Motor Run In
Battery Matching (so so)
Quiet (no annoying sounds)

only 10 amp DC

Something new to consider...

Street price for the Pitbull seems to be down in the $135 range now as opposed to $180 for the Pulsar Competition...

i'm not sure how procing looks on the Pulsar Sport...

I was looking at the same issue Pulsar comp vs. 35BL...

My current charger is a Millenium 1.0 ....So it is now the backup. For the extra $50-60 I purchased a 35 BL Stealth ($250 shipped vs. $180+shipping/taxes) and now I have more charge flexibility, a motor run in feature that has higher capacity, and a useable discharge feature...

A used pulsar would have been great...but I don't think they are very common...if someone has one and they want a new charger..they seem to be buying a GFX and keeping the pulsar as the backup.

AWOLsoldier The Yokomo dual charger does not have a motor run function or a discharge function.

I just got one also, based on very little use so far I am plaesed with the unit. It did a good job charging 6c packs for mod TC. I am going to run 1/12th this weekend and see how it does with 4c packs.

John, only thing better then one Turbo, is two Turbo's. Can do two functions at once, I love both my 35 and 30 CE chargers.

I've got a GFX and picked up a Pulsar Competition for a 2nd charger. Luggin 2 big Turbos around takes up too much space.
The nice thing about this combination is that no matter which charger is being used you can still use the other to run your comm lathe.
