Super Stock class - 1/10 TC chassis with 23T BR/11.5R BL

Tamiya TC class - TT01 chassis with Tamiya Sport tuned motor

Super-M class - 1/10 Mini chassis with Tamiya Sport tuned motor

Tamiya Mini class - M03 and M04 chassis with Tamiya Sport tuned motor

All classes run 8min, 7.2V nimh and rubber tyre.

I only have 2 tracks here to choose from...


Novice/540 - silver cans, sports tuned
Stock B, Stock A - 2 classes of Stock 27T motors
Stock Brushless - 13.5 brushless (this class was created before the brushless specs were released
Modified Touring - 5 or 6 cell, no turn limit.


540 - silver can, sports tuned
Stock - 27T stock, 13.5 brushless (bonded preferred)
19T - 19T brushed, 10.5T brushless
Modified - 5 cell NIMH or lipo (with a higher weight limit)

My local track runs dirt and carpet. For carpet:
Speed Spec sedan - silver can or 21.5, 4 cell
foam sedan - 13.5
12th - 17.5 or 27t
sometimes rubber sedan - 13.5
sometimes Pro-10 (2 teams testing) - 13.5, 4 cell

We run the following classes at my local track.


Novice Sedan - any motor
Super Stock Sedan - 13.5 (largest)
19T Sedan - 10.5 or 19T
Nitro Sedan
Pro 10 - 13.5 4 cell
Oval - classes determined by attendence


Micro Stock
Micro Mod
Micro Truck Open
Retired from RC....
Quantum - St. Croix - Bass Pro Shops - XPS - Rapala

1/10th Mod Touring Car
1/12th Super Stock
1/10th Nitro (open motor)
2wd Gearbox
1/18th Oval

Off-Road (100'x70' outdoor)
1/10th Buggy SS
1/10th Truck Mod
1/8th Buggy
Truggy (sometimes) ... track is a bit small for it.

Depends, but we try to normally have the following:

Stock Sedan (13.5)
Rookie Sedan (17.5, but 13.5 allowed too)
1/12 (17.5 or 27T)

and sometimes have:

18R (open)
Tamiya Mini Cooper (open)

Begginner's Spec Class (Must Run Tamiya tt-01 with only 5 hopups of your choice and can run only 540-J or Sport Tuned Motors)
12th scales
and we will soon be running 10th pan cars

For regular club racing at Action Hobbies Kingsville during its respective seasons...

Indoor Carpet (66x33)
Stock Touring (17.5/27 Turn) On a good night about 20 racers
Stock 12th Scale (17.5/27 Turn) Usually only a 1 Heat...
Mini Cooper - Close to 30 entires...
On occasion Mod or Super Stock Touring car
Possibly 1/10th Pan this fall

Outdoor Off Road (130x110)
1/8th Buggy - 15-20 Racers
1/8th Truggy - Usually a full heat
Monster truck - 3 or 4 guys
Open 1/10th - 3-5 guys

we run indoors on a large carpet on sundays in the winter:

18th buggy/truggy 2 - 3 heats
12th pan 2 - 3 heats
mardave 1 heat
10th 27t stock 1 heat

and hopefully a new class of pro10 open class

Default local track

usually we run "race what you bring" with the following classes on carpet

12th scale 4 cell only
touring car foam tire
stadium truck with a buggy once and a while

once in a while we will run either 27 turn or 19 turn only in tc but usually it's open racing.
