This still seems like a dodgy move for Novak... I mean yeah they changed color schemes. But the motors seem no different, and they just change a few programming settings like someone else mentioned.

I have no idea why they felt a need to make a specific "Drift spec" ESC if the GTB and novak motors already have so many fans (no pun intended) in the drift world.

I think the name is clever, but makes Novak seem sorta "kid-y"... Slydr? uh... okay...

I still love novak though. I just think they should have redesigned the look of the ESC before releasing one with a different name, or just kept the GTB and made a different motor where it attracts drifters via a focus on torque, or something. The restyling of the ESC is unnecessary imo.

Heck, I wouldn't even mind a "GTB-D, special black drift edition". I think that would be more classy.

maybe because they want a little more user friendly bl system for drifters like where you said there are some minor tweaks. and to interest some people who rc drift. they want to sell more stuff

Just seems like they're competing against themselves with this.
