Default Did I Kill My 13.5 brushless motor? windings Check the pics Please!

Hi dudes
I'm a brushless newB after 8x5min run on small ,tight carpet track back home and want to check the condition of Orion Vortex 2008 13.5 BL motor and here is the pics of the Motor. Overall gearing was 8 where I was using CO27 geared 10 before...

Is that damaged or anything cos it looks like there is excessive melted something like glue over there?
But motor still in good working order?
If that's the sign of the end What I'm doing wrong about Gearing?
Thanx in advance for your help

its pulled a winding from the soldered terminals.
Looks like a warranty claim is in order.

That looks OK if it was burnt then the stator windings would be black and smelling.
You say you were running the same gearing as a CO27 then id suggest going up big time as you are way undergeared.
We are running 13.5's anywhere from 38mm - 43mm rollout.
Put it together and gear up and watch the temp.
70 deg/c or above is a nono ideal is around 60 - 65 deg/c

Ding!!! Ding!!!

Looks like we have a winner.

Look at the first picture. Next to the holes in the ring you can see wher the windings are soldered on. The one at the top has come partially unsoldered (probably from over heating) if you look down into the motor from that unsoldered joint you can see what looks like a fracture in the iron core the windings are around.(Maybe what caused the overheating?)

True Looks Like that ....
But interesting part is; that motor still works like the first time I've use it...
is there any solution to sort that out?
