Spektrum sr3001 reciever help....
guys,
i got a minor problem, my spektrum recievers wire was accidently cut, its length was too short,
here its my question, have any tried to replace the recievers wire with recievers wire like ko propo? when dismantle the casing or the recievers, i notice that there some kind of glue/CA on the tip of the reciever wire end, i wander if i can scrape it off and do the soldering, as the solder pad are covered with the mention gum or Ca like dried fluid.
thanks in advance for your reply?
also i wonder if pro module(transperant) works with sspektrum 1st gen spektrum recievers(solid grey colour)?
also can we buy just the reciever casing?

I wouldn't think it is a covered by warranty. Neglect usually isn't covered. Since it isn't working anyway. I would try to fix it myself if it were mine. You have no use for it with a cut antenna so you don't have anything to loose. I think the epoxy you see is because of it being fuel proof for nitro use. It may not be fuel proof once you scape off the epoxy but I'd rather have a non- fuel proof working receiver than a non working one. Just my opinion!
