Default Battery Company Grepow?

Not sure if anyone in europe, china, japan or elsewhere can tell me if this company is still doing business, they make these:

I know quite a few things slowed down in china because of the olympics but their web domain has expired . I know their batteries are popular outside the us.

we used to be able to get them in the UK, but they don't seem to be around anymore. It's EP or SMC mostly now

I think orion entered into an exclusive deal w/ them to supply their batteries but i'm not sure and i've been trying to get some background on them to see if i can get a decent sized batch of batteries.

Speedzone doesn't match them anymore so I guess they weren't all cracked up to what they were supposed to be.

hey all: Yup as rcsteve93 said speedzone no longer offers greypow cells. I checked speedzone's site and they are offering the updated ib4200,ib4600 and the new e-power4500 cells? Finally i've noticed a few companies matching the new e-power 4500 cells how do they perform vs ener-g4600 ep4600 and ib4600? Thanks and hope this helps

I have some of those epower 4500's they are from the same manufacturer as the ep's. The samples i got were o.k. could not compare to the ep4600's or ib4600's. They have slightly hieghr IR overall and are great for club racing but not for high level competition racing.

OK an update on Grepow. Yes they are very much still alive.

They do make the batteries for Orion. The reason that you do not see the pink Grepow label around is that they prefer to make OEM batteries and not batteries under their own name.

So if you have a big enough order they are more than happy to shrink the batteries with your own heatshrink. By big order I mean above 10000 cells

I wonder if you can still buy grepow branded cells? since they would be cheaper than orion ones for the same cell...
