Default Need help with....

a mini spektrum receiver. First I know there is a forum for electronics, but there are only 11 people browsing. I figured I have a better chance of getting my question answered here.

I got a loaner spektrum mini receiver from a friend with the binding plug and instructions. The instructions say to place the binding plug in the slot where the battery would go. Then it says to turn on the switch on the car. That won't do any good because the car is not connected to the receiver. The instructions seem to be wrong. Anyone know how to bind the mini receivers and what plugs go where on the receiver?

Thanks for any help.

1. Plug everything into the reciever.

2. Place bind plug into batt slot.

3. Turn speed control on.

4. Lastly, perform bind process on the radio per instructions and you should be good to go.

Good luck

FYI....channel 1 is steering and 2 is for the speed control

Sorry, forgot to mention this is a nitro application so the slots are battery, servo T, servo S and auxillary. I need to plug the receiver battery into a slot, but that slot is used by the binding plug according to the instructions.

the part that is confusing me is the binding process. The instructions says to place the bind plug in the battery slot. If I do that, then where to I place the battery plug?

You SHOULD be able to power the reciever from any of the slots but you can only bind it from the battery slot. So plug your battery into your Aux slot and make sure the wires go in in the right direction.

the great Harbuckle just told me that you can put the battery in the AUX slot and the bind plug into the BATT slot....he also said if you have a switch harness with charge cord, you can put the bind plug into the charge cord..
