There is also a T body which is originally a Tyrrell Yamaha 023, when released by TAMIYA along time ago. The Braun car is a Tyrrell Honda 020, but it's an older body style. Somewhat similar to the Tyrrell 019 Ford.

Edit: I guess you were talking about this Brawn GP. The F104 body will be the closest to this. For the F103, the M body is the closest.

Tech Racing does a Brawn body for their F125 kit - http://www.tech-racing.co.jp/f125-wing.html.

Does anyone make a ChampCar (turbo, not the NA IRL IndyCar) body?

Tamiya made a Lola body back in the day, but they are hard to come by and for the 103L chassis which was a long wheelbase chassis.
DDrive sports has an Indy conversion kit and body to go with it

Default Tamiya F103 RM F1 Body

Hi everybody,
I have recently finally realised a childhood dream and purchased myself my first F1 R/c - a Tamiya F103 RM. I'm stoked, I can't stop playing with it, even though I dont really know what I'm doing with it!

I desperately want to customise a body and get some cool decals on it (particularly either the 2008 BMW Sauber or STR), but I really dont know where to start. Is someone able to give me a run down on the body types available, and what people turn them into? And a reliable source of decals? I visit D-Drive Sports everyday waiting for more STR or RBR decals (or the full BMW decals); but they seem to have sold out forever.

Any tips towards a beginners guide would be helpful too; because once I get the thing looking pretty; I'm going to want to get it fast =)

Thanks so much for your help everyone; I appreciate it so much!

So excited!!

Hey Calvin. That's an interesting mod for the F103. So all that is needed is the F104 front end and F104 servo mounts? And no drilling needed? Thanks.

I ordered my F104 pieces as well to make a F103.5 because of calvin. I do like the looks of the newer cars now, and that front end is good from about 2000 on up till now. cant wait to try it all out, plus tires. We should have a F103.5 thread to discuss it...

No drilling!
Just get all the parts for the F104 front end and you have to trim the back of the front wing, if you use f103 front wing. You will see when the wheels turn. I'm working on the front wheel width.
