Come on J... you know your going to buy one!! you can't run that MO-4 for ever!! besides mini at the moment has died.. everyone who drives an F1 is a mini driver too..

I was out last night practicing.. I am not running my good tires yet, and I still need to get the rear pod planted a bit (thicker lube in the damp plate) but i was within 1 sec of F1 and I would have qualified for the F2 a-main (just.. )

See you soon J.

Default Can someone offer some advice.....

I know the F-1 car has been around for a long time.....now with it being promoted for Tamiya races for 09.....does this mean the F103 rm will be available for awhile??? My confusion comes from Tamiya Canada's distributor...they show the F103 rm as discontinued...but maybe that's only the 1 body style??

Also we are looking at a second class of racing at our club....we run mini's currently...since we already have a battery limit of 3300 and most of us will be buying the F-1 kits new....would you guys keep them spec...or stock...or would you suggest we follow the rules set out by Tamiya....this club is all about the FUN factor...we try and make things as inexpensive as possible for the racers....do we really need upgrades??

Sorry for the long winded question....we are trying to make a decision soon...I'm leaning towards the F-1 if it's available...some others are leaning towards the VTA racing....

Thanks in advance,
Roy

Hey guys. I have a few quick questions for you.

First question, I went on RC-Market today to order the TRG carbon print 5000 diffuser. When I click Buy Now, it gives me a message saying:

"SOLD within pre-order around 2 weeks back in stock"

Does that mean out of stock and will be back in stock in 2 weeks?

My second question is what other sites are good to order F103 parts from? Links would be great!

Final question, what body will come with the 15th Anniversary kit?

Yep it means no stock. Best to email them to get confirmation on when they will have stock again.

Their lose. Check with RCmart. I know they have 24 in stock, because I just bought the 25th.

This is the best site when it comes to 103 parts.

Our club we run spec battery and spec motor. 2400mah and black can Tamiya.

I dont think there is a need for the battery as the black can can only flow so much current, so putting a 5000mah lipo in it.. will still give you 7.4v at whatever the black can can flow.

We are having a great time.. and I hear no bitching about upgrades etc.

Apparently the T and M cars are discontinued - and the L body comes out on the 30th of November

As far as shops go there are a bunch
RC mushroom
RC model HK
Rainbow ten
and a host of others
I have ordered from all three and had only one issue where I had to take a more expensive item cause a sale item was out of stock, but other than that they are great to deal with
Type L to the best of my understanding is a reissue of the Lotus 107

What body type comes with the F103RM kit?

I also see a new F103RM w/L body is coming out Nov 28th. What body does that come with? Is it the same body the other RM comes with?

Pics would be nice to see the differences between the bodies.
