forgot to ask..

is there any difference between the different versions of the F103 (eg. RM, RS, 15th etc) in terms of location of the body mounting points?
not just in general, but i mean down to the mm ?

No, the body mounting locations are all exactly the same.

Default F103RM and LiPO

So the guys running LiPO in your F103's how do you like they way it handles? I would think for asphalt the LiPO would make the car too light causing less grip. Probably for carpet LiPO is fine. Also, are there any F103 weight requirements for TCS Racing?

I've been running mine with an Orion 3600 on carpet. The car is absolutely planted. No light non connected feeling. As of right now there is NO minimum weight for F103 in TCS.

I recently acquired an F103RM chassis and I would like to fit an old Indy body on it. I understand the F103L is a longer wheelbase version of the F103.

Aside from the chassis and sub chassis parts, are there any other screw bags or other parts I need to make it work with the RM?

This is the first time I'm putting a kit together (I own an XB TT-01) and the F103 Indy Car is something I've been wanting to build since I was a kid when it first came out, but was just too much to ask for back then.

Any feedback would be great, thanks in advance!

Does anyone know where I can buy the TRG carbon F1 body?

I found it on this link:
http://www.rceasy.com/ch2/2008/10/24...arbon-f1-body/

I would like to get this body for my F103R. Please help me out.

Sheldons Hobbies is selling .110 (~3mm) F103 chassis from Composite Craft for about $35 shipped. I just got mine in the mail. They have a few left. Great if you are not concerned about being TCS legal.

the only rule that comes close to weight restrictions is this one...
3. No chassis lightening allowed.
but didnt there used to be 1100gm weight limit on these in the TCS rules?
i could have sworn there were 13 rules listed for F1 on the TCS website and one of them was an 1100gm weight limit..

was this changed only very recently?
