I ran my F103 yesterday at my local track. Very surprised at how easy it was to drive i guess thats thanks to the tips on this thread
I was using Zen 35 shore tyres front with 30's on the rear (asphalt track). Also i was using the O ring suspension instead of the Piviot ball setup. I think this made it easier and more predictable to drive.

I think I rolled out at 45mm (26/93, out of package 15th Aniv. kit tire).

Just add radio, receiver, and esc and it is ready to rock. Body has been cut out and mounted but still clear. Comes with everything from the kit in the box.

And... even if not F103 related I think it might be interesting for someone.

A different Martini attire for this Tamiya Lotus 79.
Version is the car used by Mario Andretti at German GP in 1979.

Also, look at helmet! The coooooolest helmet ever made: Simpson Bandit!!! (work is still in progress...)

This body was made by Benny Hobby here in Japan. It came with a Special Tamiya kit that included a can of the proper blue for Leyton House. You can sometimes find the the body set by its self on Yahoo Japan auctions but you will need a servce such as Celga to help you buy it.And that can get expensive.
