Yes and No.
The F103RM T comes with the terrell style body,
The F103RM M comes with the McLaren style body,
The F103RM L comes with the Ligier style body,
The 15th Anniversary F103 chassis does not come with a body.

Do the T, M and L body make any difference performance-wise with a mabuchi motor?

Hate to ask silly questions but...

Recently scored a Tamiya F103 on ebay and was considering getting it race ready but i've got a few other projects that are more pressing so i also considered putting it back on ebay.

Problem is, i can't find any comparable listings to even guess if it's worth my time and effort to resell.

Are people snatching these up and holding on to them? Can someone give me a ballpark figure? Or should i just snap some pics and post on the buy/sell board here?

Any info/advice would be great and appreciated!!

The following was posted on Tracksides RCtech area by Buck and as many F-103 guys are local, I wanted to be sure you saw this.

"This Thursday January 1st, the annual New Years day race returns to the hallowed halls of Trackside hobbies in Brookfield Wisconsin.

Doors open at 7 am(ish), and racing starts at 10:30.

We will run all the classes that are offered for the US Touring car championships (Novak race) plus, because there is interest in it, we will run F-103 and minis as well.

Cost will be $15 for the first class and $8 for additional classes.

So break out the Visine and the strong black coffee and come celebrate the New Year at Trackside!!"

pejota, why resale it? The are such great little chassis to have, I'm happy they are back. You do not need top of the line electronics to make it quick. Any motor over a stock 27T will be plenty fast with a plain ol stick pack, and cheapo servo. To answer your questiona bout what its worth, well if its in like new shape with an unpainted body, maybe around $125. I've bought most of my F103's from overseas and paid $140-$150 new shipped. Hop-ups will increase the price to a point.

I got to see my first one run in many years yesterday. There was only one F103 there so it ran with the WGT cars. With the stock silver can motor the F103 was as fast as the pan cars...to the tenth. The car was fantastic to see and IMHO anything faster then the silver can is going to be crazy fast.

I just checked shipping on my car and it is in town and should be at the door in the morning.

Aforementioned F103...
I know it's not a GT since it doesn't have the TC wheels and tires. Other than that, i'm not sure exactly what i have.

What you can't see in the photos are the blue aluminum bits on the carbon fiber axle.

Hello and good morning everyone. Things have been a little crazy with the holidays lately. I hope Santa brought everyone what they asked for. He remembered me even though I was just a little naughty.

Before things start getting crazy again, I just wanted to take a minute to wish everyone a safe and happy New Year. I hope everyone has a great 2009!
