yup, should be fine. it was designed for the 103 so modification shouldn't be required.

Outside of the Decal Island sheets offered by D-Drive, where are other sources for replica decal sheets? I'm looking for onything pre-1995, like that slick Benetton B189 or any old Senna cars (specifically the Marlboro Honda MP4/6).

Anywhere those can be had?

Thanks M7-

I only ask about the 48 pitch because I'm not too hip on 64p or metric. Don't really feel the need or want to buy a new set of pinions for this car until there is a uprising in my area. Meaning, more people around here buy an F1 and theres a class then...maybe. I just have always ran 48p in TCs and Offroad and I'm just being an awesome tightwad right now. Getting this car -and everything I want on or in it- is a little pricey! Baby steps... Can't wait to get one of these.

I've never owned a F1 before and I'm not sure if aftermarket wings fit every chassis or not. Or...bodies for that matter. I plan on buying one of these F103RMs very soon. I'm just trying to familiarize myself with with after market ideas for this specific car. Hop-ups, etc.

Also....does anyone know if there is a 48 pitch spur gear that fits this car? If so, which manufacture makes it?
hi,
if you use this alu ring you can use all standard 48 ore 64 spur gears like xenon-kimbrough

Default canadian TCS finals

Hello everyone,

since the return of the F103RM, the amount of people joining this class is staggering! For this years CANADIAN finals, held in Kingston Ontario, we have added a "invitational" F103RM class which will coincide with the other TCS classes. Although only canadian racers who have QUALIFIED can run in the other classes(GT1,GT2,F103GT,TG10,MINI) we are inviting anyone who owns a F103RM to join us this year so we can try for possibly the biggest F1 turnout to date! From what i have been told we have close to 30 entries already!! Keep in mind this is only for the F103RM, which is incredible. So if you live in the vermont, newyork, or anywhere for that matter, and own a F103RM, plz come out and join us!

Heres the link for more info http://www.tamiya.ca/2008_tamiya_canadian_nationals.htm (scroll to bottom for F103RM)

Hey Corey, hopefully Tamiya will make this a class in TCS next year. The numbers for the invitational show that it should be one.

Looking forward to the race for sure.

Thanks, I figured I was going to have to make my own for the cars I wanted. Guess it's just that more rare, then.

I think the T body is based off the Tyrell F1 car. The M type is based off the Mclaren MP4/13

Can you fit a brushless motor in the F103RM?

How about LiPo's?

Thanks.

Yeah ive had a LRP 13.5 motor in my 103, fits fine.

Not sure about lipos. Im guessing the orion pack would fit in alright since its a stick pack. but not 100% sure on that one.
