I also see a new F103RM w/L body is coming out Nov 28th. What body does that come with? Is it the same body the other RM comes with?

Pics would be nice to see the differences between the bodies.

pics from the net

Type T = Tyrrell 023

Type M = McLaren MP4/13

Type L = Lotus 107C

dunno if Tamiya will release a "Type W" but i hope they release instead a "Type F" at least for variety's sake...

hope it helps

it is? hmm... maybe a recheck for me is in order...

although i would have preferred Tamiya to re-release either the Ferrari 412T1 or better yet, the Sauber C12...

Yeah, I guess I'll have to join the crowd sooner than later, as the Grand Slam is a month away! Was hoping for them to have the Mini class, but who can argue with a 42-car gathering at a club race?
It's good to see so many people interested in one race class again..

Just a matter of if I'm going to get a base kit and have to get the alu motor mount and extended upper deck as most people have, why not just get the Anniversary kit?

It's just a matter of getting the body parts (tail, body and nose) for it, as I hear they're scarce at the moment..

I finally got around to starting project MP4/7 today. I had to get the chassis together first. Here's some pics of it completed. I also put a link that shows the whole build so far.

Yea the 15th Anniversary Edition isn't out yet. You can pre-order one on Tower for $260 though they'll likely be cheaper elsewhere.

Hi, what's a good sensored BL motor that is
- novak GTB compatible
- smaller than 540 motor
- can push a lipo/GTB equipped F103 at about the same speed as a good johnson motor?

Thanks for any help. I just want to run and run and run and run my F1 at the track. Johnson motor is good enough but I want more runtime.

Has anyone used the TRG rubber tyres on asphalt? If so, how do they go and what compound works the best? They look to have a single compound rear and two compounds of fronts (hard and medium) & I'm here trying to dredge up memories from 15 years ago to figure out if my F103 needed more or less steering
