I have to correct myself from an earlier post I made. I stated that I thought the new TRG Carbon Fiber body pictured is a Mclaren MP4/7, I was wrong. After looking at the body, several times, more carefully and reading the name designation from TRG, it is in fact a Mclaren MP4/8. The was the car driven by Senna and Andretti. Itís the body that use to be available with the HPI Super F1 kit. In my opinion this is one the top three most gorgeous cars ever made in formula 1. This is very cool! I love this body and recently I've been looking for it on the net with no luck. I hope they produce a clear version of this car as well.

BorderRC (Michel) you guys have to get these when they come out. I'm down for at least two of these, more if they make a clear version

They already make this in a clear body?? I have the MP4/7 from TRG I beleive that's the 92M, part number TRG3005. It's not the same body as the one pictured. I'm telling you that's the MP4/8 which would be a 93M by TRG designation.

If you've got that body clear please tell me where you got it. I'd love to add this to my collection.

I think RC Mart might carry it. I know it's made by Top/TRG out of Japan.

Here's the link to TRG

The next body will be a LOLA T 94/00 HONDA.

I think to peint it in totally black, or perhaps like the French flag.

I must to choose the facility ( totally in black) or the difficulty (french flag
coulours). I don't know at this moment.

And you, how do you will peint this LOLA's body?

Are there any other tire arbors available other than the Kawada listed on D-drive sports? They are out of stock and I cannot find any other arbor listed, except for Team Cobra for there machine for F1 sponge tires. My Trueing machine is a Eagle automatic, I'd love to use it on these tires.

Hello from the USA and welcome to the thread. Thatís a nice looking PIAA car. I know what you mean about the upper deck. That car had a specific upper deck that came with the kit. The body mounds actually mounted on the front side of the body. Your car looks good regardless. Thanks for posting pics!

Hereís the arbor set I use. You can get from Border RC at the link below. Iím not really sure if it will mount up to your machine. Iíd send them an email just to check before you order it.

Hey Moole, Thatís sort of a hard question to answer in my opinion. The foams require a truer and maintenance, however they offer allot of grip and a variety of compounds. The rubberís require less maintenance and will last you more runs overall. But, there arenít as many compounds to choose from. Also worth mentioning, is foam tires tend to chunk (meaning a large part of the tire will get torn out completely or ripped, usually with a wreck) where rubber tires wont. Then thereís the surface in which you plan on running. Iíve found concrete to be the enemy of foams, rubber tires seam to work better here. Asphalt, it could go either way.

If youíre running the car at a track Iíd talk to some regulars and get their advice on where to start. If youíre pounding around with some friends in an open lot or street, foams may be the better way to go. Iím not sure if any of this helps.
