ultegrasti: Visit www.tamiya.ca, they have pictures, it's a re-release. I believe it use to be called the F103RX. I was told it is not available in the US yet. Just order it from Canada. http://www.muchhobby.com/

dragracer72nova: They are very similar, however the T plate uses ball instead of Oring, the chassis is norrower, the front arms are solid.
If you combine the two you make a good car many have.

Purchased, new parts yesturday.

Aluminum Motor mount, Steering turn buckles, Mesh wheels & Tires, soft and medium compound.

I'm still waiting for more parts, need pins for the F103GT front suspenssion.

Question, is there a TCS legal way to adjust front ride height?

Unfortunately, no way to change the front ride height, but we never had a problem as we ran rubber tires only. On foams it can be a hassle. That was TCS rules anyway, but still no idea how you would adjust it other than spacers on the king pins. You can easily lower it, but raising it is harder with a fixed bottom arm.

I bought 3 RM kits, and a heap of parts to rebuild my F103's, and ive since gone a little nutty on them too. I used to race these and my first competitive rc car was the Nakajima PIAA Reynard. Still cant beleive i sold it! So ive replenished my need for F103's. I now have a heap of F103's, about 8 rollers with servos. Everything ranging from NIB, to TRF, to general hoppups. Essential hopups for the F1's used to be turnbuckles, the black uprights (3.5mm offset) fixed front end, o ring back end with a steel washer instead of the rubber oring at the front, height adjustable case, Oil damper and a S type T bar. The rest didnt do much for it. Im waiting for winter indoor season to start here.

And if you guys didnt know, Japan have been running F1's for ever. Companies like Cross are releasing vintage F1 bodies also. I have the M23 Mclaren decked out in Marlboro colors, Senna's M88 Mclaren and the FW07 Williams. Ive got to find some time to put some pics up on here instead of just lurking!

I believe Tamiya no longer have the rights to reproduce the actual bodies of that era anymore. You will find that they are re-releasing the old bodies again but under an alias. M-type - Mclarren T-Type - Tyrell perhaps. Hopefully we will see some other varieties come out. I really would like to see a Jordan B91 body for the f101/2!

F103's seem to be making a comeback in Japan big time. Check out site in Japanese: http://rcmonocoque.shop8.makeshop.jp/ I have seen the Cross and Zen bodies and they are pretty neat. Babel Fish seems to translate OK.

Thanks Bakaguyjean!!! Interesting screen name. I assume that you are not a native of Japan?

The web site has my favorite ex HPI (form 1994) graphite front brace. Cool!

Hah, you're a disgrace, F-1 boy!

Don't worry, I've got an RM sitting in my order box waiting for some cash to join it

Rumor has it that Tamiya will be bringing the cars in the Fall. I sure hope so! And a TCS class as well.
