We have developed a set of option front axles for the F103/F104. This will allow you to run the F104 front end on the F103. So you will have the same width front and rear if you choose to run F104 front end. There are many advantages to running the F104 front end, including adjustable ride height, realistic appearance and better strength. These axles will be machined from titanium for super light weight and strength. We estimate the price to be approximately $15 a pair and should be ready in the next few weeks.

Happy racing!
I may want one too. Yeah Racing came up with their version of a front end for F103 adjustable like Tamiyas F104. Anyones tried it?

Cheers.

I use an F103GT and almost tried to make an F103.5 using the front end of an F104. I think all the parts are a direct fit but yes, my problem is that the F104 is much much narrower than the 103 so I can't maintain the GT's 180mm width.

I got a 3Racing front-end, and they're sweet. Adjustable chamber, nice price too. Now in thin photo I have extra hardware, but I'm a cheap bastard... Still works like new though. It's ugly but you get the point. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure which one I ordered, 3Racing or Yeah? I tried to look'em up just couldn't find. Wierd

Hi everybody:

Greetings from Spain!!

I've reading the entire thread during past month, and I learned a lot about this fun car.

My F103 craze started with a Gt I bougth second hand, about a year ago.
This summer I ended grabbing a new F103RM (M Body), and I'm love with this car.

I need to replace my wings, and I saw Cross wings on D-drive.
How about the Cross wings? I think I saw something about in the thread, but I can find it now.

Thanks

It's a "W" type body?

For what I see it's a brushless motor?

Thanks.
Yes, it's 17,5 brushless, sensored.
(not easy to compose all that wires :-)

Body is from TRG, SW type. Front and rear wings are Tamiya L type.

I use a hobbywing 12T brushless (3300Kv)on mine, but my home track it's really long (for 1/8 onroad).

Only when I use a Le Mans body with a lot of downforce, I think the car will handle a little bit more motor

Even the cheapest/slowest servo, like a futaba S3003 will do their job well.

In fact, a ultra speed servo, can make the car too agressive

Default Wheel Zen and tamiya

Hi,
For years I roll Tamiya foam tires on carpet, today I'd like to try ZEN tires, 38 front and 35 to the rear wheels on Zen.

Question: Do I need an adapter to the back different from that of a tire Tamiya? I have to take anything up to the rim? or just a thrust bearing enough?

Thanks.

Install the parts that are inside of the original rim on the outside of the zen rim.
