If what everyone is saying is true, they are HBR mediums
It could be a new compound though

Has anyone done this before? Will the Spray Can PC paint (for lexan bodies) be okay or should I use something like Testors Model paint, but what type of paint? Enamel, Acrylic, or Lacquers?
I use colored viynl. I recommend Avery viynl for it's flexibility and sticking power. If you're in a hobby shop, look for Coverite trim sheets and they should have Avery logos on the back side of the backing sheet. That stuff is awesome! Also, for weird or custom colors, I would actually spray paint some Avery viynl and put a clear Avery viynl on top of that (the old Autographics "window" masks are made of that stuff). Again, it's good stuff.
Now if I can figure out which kind of viynl it is (thickness, specs, etc..per Avery), I would by an ebay bulk roll of it

that makes sense. on throttle or heavy braking, the t bar will flex the most. the same time the strut works the hardest.

I use vinyl as well, but i have painted as well. if its just for display, paint can work, but for racing go the vinyl route

Thanks in advance!!!
Those are the old F103 Rubber tires. There was an A and a B compound. They are not legal for TCS at this time, but we can hope that Tamiya sees the folly of going back to foam and returns instead back to Rubber Tire F1 Racing...when F1 racing was the best IMHO...

Hey Gary. Mark Rodney here. Do you have Dishers phone number handy. I think I left my phone in his car. If not do you have Brads?

I have HBR Med. fronts and rears, but they don't seem to be like the premounts, especially the rears. The HBR rears seem pretty hard. The Premount rears seem softer and more like a gray type rubber. The fronts don't grip as well as the HBR Med tires, but not by much.

Tamiya front wings are pretty good.
The new C-Body (Lotus 107B) got excellent frontwings. A friend of mine had his body for 10 years and it has been raced hard!
He got new Lotus now, did not want any other body for it.

I tried TRG and Zen, one small impact and it was F1 very early 80's style. Front wing broke off. Go for Tamiya orginal wings and they will last!

+1 I've got this picture where one of my F103's hit the pointy end of a 2x4 hard enough to actually split and jam itself in the wood with all tires off the ground Wing damage...none. This was with a Lotus 107B
